Development Life Skills

Skills that make the next step possible

Capacity building is the part of the NDIS that changes what you can do next year, not just this week. We run practical, patient training in the skills that get in the way, one-to-one or in small groups.

Our workers come from different backgrounds and interests, so we can match you with someone who shares yours. Progress is recorded, reviewed with you, and reported clearly ahead of plan reviews.

What we work on together

Goals are written in your words, then broken into steps small enough to achieve.

  • Cooking, shopping and healthy eating
  • Budgeting, banking and managing bills
  • Travel training and road safety
  • Communication and social confidence
  • Using assistive technology and devices
  • Personal hygiene and self-care routines
  • Managing appointments and medication
  • Home safety and everyday problem solving
