Our story

Built by support workers, for real life

Tasman Support Services Pty Ltd started with a small group of experienced support workers who kept seeing the same problem: people with disability being fitted into rosters and programs, instead of programs being built around people.

So they started their own service. Small on purpose, local on purpose, and organised around one question: what does a good week look like for you? The team has grown to include coordinators and lifestyle facilitators, but the answer to that question still drives everything.

Today we support children, young people and adults across Hobart and southern Tasmania, from a few hours of community access each week to 24-hour supported living.
